ABOUT THIS THEATRE
Description
Herts & Tallant, architects. A smaller version of the New Amsterdam Theatre. Built by Klaw and Erlanger to present Rogers Brothers musicals. In 1933, it was made over as a movie theatre and continued this function into the 1980s. In 2000, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum was built on the site. Although the building's exterior structure is still standing, it's interior is no longer in use as a theatre.
