Comments
For this production's engagement in Milwaukee (January 27 - February 1, 1958), the baseball team's name was changed from the Washington Senators to the Milwaukee Braves, an homage to the real Milwaukee Braves (now the Atlanta Braves). The producers were granted special permission from the real Milwaukee Braves to not only use their name, but also their uniforms. A few key lines and lyrics were changed as well.
