ABOUT THIS THEATRE

Description

The largest cultural and artistic complex in Canada, Place des Arts is home to the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre Métropolitain, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, and the Opéra de Montréal. The first theatre in the complex was built in 1963. Now the complex's six venues host choral music, concerts, film presentations, dance, opera, and theatre.
