ABOUT THIS THEATRE

Description
The Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center is North Florida's Premiere Entertainment and Convention Center offering a wide variety of quality entertainment, convention and meeting facilities to Florida's Capital City and surrounding areas. The Tallahassee Broadway Series has been presented at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center since 1991. Broadway shows from past seasons include Les Misérables, Chicago, Riverdance, Rent, The Producers, Hairspray, Mamma Mia!, The Color Purple and Spamalot. In addition to Broadway, the Civic Center also hosts a variety of family shows such as Sesame Street Live, Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil, plus concerts by today's top artists including Jimmy Buffett, Elton John, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and more.
