ABOUT THIS THEATRE

Description

Blumenthal Performing Arts owns and operates six theaters in three campuses in Charlotte, NC. The Performing Arts Center, which opened Nov. 1992, has three performance spaces: the 2,100-seat Belk Theater; the 434-seat Booth Playhouse; and the Stage Door Theatre, which seats 150. In 2009, the 1,200-seat Knight Theater opened in the Levine Center for the Arts. This new space is the primary home for North Carolina Dance Theater and is used for touring Broadway shows and attractions.
