Description
Carrere & Hastings, architects. Built on the roof of the Century Theatre, initially used as rehearsal space. During its lifetime, the theatre served a variety of purposes, including children's theatre (complete with kid-sized seats), cabaret (The Cocoanut Grove), and Russian vaudeville house. In 1930, the building was demolished to make way for the Century Apartments.
