Biography: George Morrison was born in 1928 in Evanston, Illinois. He served two years in the United States Army. He studied at the University of Chicago, at Yale School of Drama, in Lee Strasberg's private class, and then at the Actors Studio. He created the George Morrison Studio, where he offered classes for over 20 years. He was then one of the founding faculty members of the Actor Training Program at SUNY Purchase. He founded The New Actors Workshop with Paul Sills and Mike Nichols in 1988.
