Comments
This production's lead actress Adele Rolland (who played Hattie) unexpectedly did not arrive at the theatre on the evening of Tuesday, August 7, 1922. She had eloped with her finacee Clarence Levy, getting married in Rochester, NY. Understudy Babe Born went on in her place the evening of Tuesday, August 7 and the Wednesday, August 8 matinee. Actress Clare Moores performed the role (without rehearsal) beginning Wednesday evening August 8 through August 15. Eileen Wilson took over permanently on August 16.
