Biography: Lee Pockriss was born on January 20, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Ethel Price Pockriss. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a cryptographer. He studied at Brooklyn College and received a graduate degree is musicology at New York University. He is survived by his brother, Harold, and his wife, Sonja.
