Biography: Jack Klugman was born on on April 27, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Max and Rose Klugman. He served in the United States Army during World War II and then studied in the drama department at Carnegie Institute of Technology. He married actress Brett Somers, with whom he had two children, Adam and David. He then married Peggy Crosby.
