Biography: Helen Hanft was born on April 4, 1934 in the Bronx, New York to Esther and Benjamin Hanft. She attended the High School of Performing Arts in New York City. She married William Landers. She performed at many Off Off Broadway venues in the 1960s and '70s such as La MaMa Experimental Theater Club, Joseph Papp's Public Theater, and Caffe Cino.
