Biography: Eydie Gormé was born on August 16, 1928 in Manhattan to Nessim and Fortuna Garmezano. Gormé made her first television appearance on The Tonight Show, where she met her husband Steve Lawrence. Their eldest son, Michael Lawrence, died in 1986. She is survived by her husband and their second son, David.
Film/TV Credits: Many appearances on film and television including “The Carol Burnett Show,” “The Nanny,” “Frasier,” “Empty Nest,” “Sanford and Son,” and “The Kraft Music Hall.”
