Transferred from off-Broadway at the Phoenix Theatre (opened March 11, 1954 for 48 performances). During the off-Broadway run, Geraldine Viti played the role of Mrs. Juniper, Nola Day played the role of Mother Hare, and Larry Chelsi played the role of Patroclus; the rest of the cast was identical to that which opened on Broadway.
