The running time of this production was five hours. For opening night, curtain time was 5:15pm; there was an intermission at 7:40pm for dinner. Due to its length, the production could only play six performances a week.
In December 1928, the touring company of STRANGE INTERLUDE played one week at the John Golden Theatre while the Broadway company took a vacation.
