Biography: Michael O'Hare was born Robert Michael O'Hare, Jr. on May 6, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. He studied English literature at Harvard University, and then attended the Juilliard School of Drama. He also studied with Sanford Meisner. He married Ruth Ivy Ballam.
