Kurt Weill's musical assistant on Broadway from 1945 through 1950. She was Lotte Lenya's accompanist and musical advisor from 1950 to 1981. She also served as the vice-president of the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music. In 1945, she was the rehearsal pianist for the Firebrand of Florence, and also served as the off-stage singing voice of Billy Dee Williams who could not sing "Make Way for the Duchess."
