ABOUT THIS PRODUCTION

Comments
This production played two 'Opening Day' performances on Wednesday, April 20, 1983: a matinee at 1:45pm, and then again at 6:45pm. The physical demands of the two leading roles (wrestling matches between the characters of Teaneck and Dean) warranted alternate performers - each was to perform an even four times a week. The play took place in a wrestling ring, and the Nederlander Theatre was transformed so the audience sat around the ring.
