Biography: Donald Grody was born on December 18, 1927 in the Bronx, New York. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. He graduated from New York Law School in 1955, and he worked for the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, DC. He served as executive director of Actors' Equity Association from 1973 to 1980. He married Judith Anderson, with whom he had his sons: Dion, Gordon, James, Jeremy and Patrick.
