Biography: Dulcie Gray was born Dulcie Winifred Catherine Bailey on November 20, 1915 in Kuala Lumpur, British Malaya. She attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, where she met Michael Denison. They married in 1939. She wrote about two dozen murder mysteries, and published an autobiography entitled Looking Forward, Looking Back. Other published works include An Actor and His World, which she published with her husband, and Butterflies on My Mind.
